Too Much Nomenom

Well, it’s been a long time since my last post. First off, my kitchen has been out of commission. There is a major problem with the plumbing of my kitchen sink, and my dishwasher died! Eating food that comes in a box, bag, or is otherwise processed is making me fat! So, I have decided to change the way I am eating.

Starting today, I will be juicing and eating low carbohydrate foods. Also, I will not eat anything that has been processed. I intend to eat all natural foods including fresh fruits and vegetables. This approach to weight loss is something new to me. I have had much success in the past with low-carbohydrate dieting, but it is not something that I can do forever. Moreover, when I go back to eating carbs, I go crazy and ultimately gain weight. I am hoping that the addition of fruit will help satisfy my craving for sweets.

So, I did some research on different programs, and there are traces of various schools of thought like fasting, paleo, low-carbohydrate, and gluten-free dieting in my program.

First, I will try to fast as long as I can, and when I can fight the hunger no more, I will have a piece of fruit or some homemade juice. Then, at suppertime, I will eat a choice of meat and most likely a salad. I am a night eater, and if I experience cravings after supper, I will have another piece of fruit or juice.

I will be posting my juice recipes as well as how I make my own mayonnaise, ranch dressing, and such. In addition, I will give a weekly update on my weight loss (hopefully) and tell how I tweak my diet in response to how my body reacts to the program.
