Well, it’s diet time again at my house. My son expressed the want to get in shape in preparation for the baseball season, next spring. The last time we dieted together, he lost 20 pounds in about two months. Now is the perfect time for him to start; he’s got plenty of time before the season starts.
Over the past two years, I have lost 60 pounds. I would still like to lose another 20 or more, and dieting is much easier with a partner. I have been stocking up on peanuts, beef jerky, meat, and salad greens, etc. For the first week or so, we kind of “ease into it,” cutting back gradually until all of the high carbohydrate food is gone.
I have decided to write about our journey and the food I prepare. Believe it or not, you can be “on a diet” and still enjoy your food. My recipes will not be complicated or fancy, but will still be Nomenom!
